Akermans Art
Akermans Art is an internet site dedicated to the artwork, photos and an art blog by Beth Akerman (BFA, Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio).
I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. I always knew that I wanted to major in art in college. After achieving some early success post-college, motherhood came calling and my art mostly fell by the wayside for many years. Now that the oldest is almost through college and the youngest is now a teen, art and now photography has started to take on a larger role in my life again. It feels wonderful to create again. With the encouragement of my friends and family, I am embarking on this current journey of creativity. I hope that you will enjoy my work, and your feedback and input are always welcome.
I will continue to expand and edit this site, and will blog occasionally about my art and photography and art in general. You are always welcome to comment via email or feel free to friend Akermans Art on Facebook. All artwork unless otherwise noted is available for sale. Please send an email inquiry for pricing information.
